Temal SURFACE – For Facade and Wall Cladding
Temal manufactures and customizes enamel cassettes for facade and wall cladding. The cassettes are available in a large number of standard colors but also with photorealistic enamel pressures. Enamel cassettes are the most optimal material for the covering of facades and walls, mainly due to its durability, where the hardness of the steel is combined with the chemical durability of glass.
The enamel material is also dirt repellent and easy to clean thanks to the pore-less smooth surface – properties that make enamel cassettes especially suited to cluttered environments. The enamel surface also has excellent durability against ultraviolet radiation, air pollution, corrosion as well as chemicals. The components contained in the enamel carry no toxic substances.

What is enamel?
Enamel is a ceramic coating that is glued to the steel at a temperature above 800°C. The enamel’s most important component is quartz. Adding nickel and cobalt oxides to the base template reduces the melting temperature of the quartz and secures the enamel adhesion to the steel. This makes the enamel a coating that has better mechanical, physical, optical and chemical properties than other coating methods for steel.

Durable & scratch resistant
The enamel’s success is primarily based on its durability, where the hardness of steel is combined with the chemical’s durability of glass. On Moh’s scale, the enamel hardness immediately after diamonds. (Mohs scale: 1. Talk 2. Lime 3. Plastic-based materials 4. Marble 5. Iron 6. Steel 7. Glass enamel, glass 8. Diamonds).
Environmentally friendly & easy to clean
The components contained in the enamel contain no toxic substances which make the production environmentally friendly. The enamel is dirt repellent and easy to clean thanks to the pore-less smooth surface. These properties make glass enamel cassettes especially suited to the environment. Graffiti or any dots can be removed simply with cloth and environmentally friendly cleaning agents if the work is carried out in a shorter time horizon. Otherwise, spots are removed by high pressure flushing, but without the use of environmentally hazardous liquids.
Color resistant
With enamel a lining is obtained that retains its appearance for decades. The ultraviolet radiation exerts extremely slowly the enameled surface, as the inorganic color oxides are melted into the pulp already during the burning. The surface also has excellent durability against air pollution, corrosion and chemicals.
